Position Overview

As a Solution Engineer at Centaur Labs, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our clients’ needs and our platform’s capabilities. You will manage technical and operational aspects of client projects, throughout the sales process, with the goal to ensure a smooth operations handoff post contracting. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations. You will drive the value understanding of what we offer to the client and change the sales potential

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical point of contact for prospective and existing clients, understanding their data annotation needs and designing tailored solutions using Centaur Labs’ platform.

  • Project Scoping & Implementation: Collaborate with sales and clients to define project requirements, success metrics, and timelines. Support project setup, integration, and hand off to operations.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to relay client feedback and drive product improvements.

  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs): Draft, review, and finalize SOWs for client and consultant engagements, clearly outlining deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

  • Manage RFP Responses: Lead the preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

  • Manage Pricing: Price annual contracts and project based solutions in collaboration with the VP of Sales and the VP of operations, ensuring alignment with company strategy and client expectations.

  • Training: Support the VP of Sales in training for the broader sales team. Training the team on product and solutions, keeping the team up to date on new product features and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in solution engineering, technical project management, or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or AI data annotation preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with APIs, data integration, and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
