The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for the assigned territory, accounts or product line and growing the customer base within the territory. This is a remote role supporting the northeast territory. Candidates must reside in the northeast area that they will support.

Crew Position:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals for the area of responsibility by selling to existing and new customers. 
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to develop, submit and execute a sales plan for the assigned territory seasonally.
  • Identify and land new account opportunities to meet growth targets.
  • Meet with customers in the showroom, the customer’s offices and at trade shows to show and sell the line, discuss reorders, trends, etc.
  • Manage, develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business.
  • Support accounts with the sell-through of products at retail, including but not limited to merchandising assistance and in-store events.
  • Know the line, product quality, sizing, etc. to discuss with customers and potential customers.
  • Follow up on customer orders and reorder. 
  • Ensure product is delivered as agreed by identifying and resolving issues.
  • Solicit orders only at such prices and terms as established by the Company. Ensure payment for all sales within established timeframes and share responsibility with Credit for delinquent collections.
  • Generate root cause analysis on non-renewal customers and make recommendations to increase renewal percentage.
  • Keep the Company informed of any significant customer information, problems with products or positioning of products, customer financial problems, etc., that may affect the Company’s ability to execute its sales plan.
  • Provide customer support including, but not limited to:
  • Providing samples, catalogs, and illustrations of the company's product line to customers
  • Handling and resolving customer inquiries/concerns
  • Addressing product-related issues with appropriate internal departments/teams.

Know the ropes...  

·         Bachelor's in business or related degree 

·         Generally, 2+ years of experience working in a wholesale sales environment, preferably for an apparel company

·         Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
