Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing high-level contributors and/or managers within the sales operations function while nurturing talent and aligning team’s efforts with the organization's strategy. The role shapes sales operations policies and goals, drives innovation, and provides strategic insights into organizational structures. The role manages change, handles resource allocation, and ensures compliance with industry regulations and market trends.

Responsibilities
• Directs and provides guidance to high-level individual contributors and/or managers within the sales operations function, handling complex challenges and achieving goals in alignment with the organizational strategy.
• Develops sales operations policies and strategic goals in collaboration with leadership to align with the organization's overarching objectives.
• Identifies conflicting priorities within sales operations and proposes effective solutions to leadership to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Provides strategic advice on future-state organizational structures, contributing to long-term planning and alignment with evolving business needs.
• Partners with both internal and external resources to innovate and deliver exceptional solutions for customers and partners.
• Leads and manages change initiatives within the sales operations function, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of transformation.
• Allocates resources and budget within the department to support strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Handles talent management and succession planning, ensuring the team's readiness through proper tools and resources while nurturing career growth and development.
• Stays updated on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics to adjust strategies and ensure that sales operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in sales, sales support, people management, sales process improvement, or a related field.
