We have an opportunity for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining CRM data quality, managing account ownership structures and supporting the execution of sales performance processes.  The Sales Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that sales systems, data and processes run smoothly and support sales performance.

You will:

  • Perform regular audits of CRM data to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Build and monitor data quality dashboards and resolve data integrity issues in collaboration with sales and IT teams.
  • Ensure compliance with data entry standards and drive adoption of best practices across the sales organization.
  • Maintain and update account ownership hierarchies and assignments in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Sales Planning to provide feedback and updates on territory assignments and support territory alignment activities during sales planning cycles and organizational changes.
  • Resolve account and ownership conflicts in partnership with sales leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Provide reporting and insights into territory coverage and account allocation.
  • Execute routine updates to sales plans, quotas and assignments in sales systems.
  • Partner with Compensation to provide attainment data to feed commission calculations and monthly payouts.
  • Troubleshoot quotas issues and ensure timely resolution of sales team’s inquiries.
  • Provide data and reporting to validate performance against plan and compensation eligibility.
  • Support development and maintenance of dashboards and performance reports.

Key Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales operations or data analysis roles
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM, as well as Excel and similar tools.
  • Experience with sales quotas / compensation tools or processes is a strong plus.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data quality and process integrity.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
