As Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen customer relationships across your region. Working closely with technical and operations teams, you’ll develop strategies to expand market share, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex customer environments while representing Baker Hughes’ values of safety, integrity, and excellence.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Champion HSE Excellence: Drive Baker Hughes’ HSE culture, ensuring seamless alignment with customer standards and supporting flawless service delivery with a focus on achieving “Perfect HSE Days.”
Deliver Commercial Growth: Achieve revenue and profitable market share growth for the product line through strategic sales execution.
Expand Customer Engagement: Build new customer relationships while strengthening and enhancing existing partnerships across the region.
Promote Value Proposition: Clearly articulate and position Baker Hughes’ solutions to demonstrate value and differentiation in the marketplace.
Shape Regional Strategy: Develop and execute regional product line sales strategies that align with global objectives and local market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively across multiple functional groups, including operations, engineering, and commercial teams, to ensure cohesive execution.
Global Alignment: Collaborate with Global Product Line HQ and Global OFSE HQ teams to contribute to annual commercial intensity plans and broader strategic initiatives.
Financial Accountability: Support the region in achieving OFSE billing and collection targets, engaging proactively with customers to resolve issues and maintain strong financial performance.
Market Insights & Innovation: Leverage data, insights, and local market intelligence to identify challenges, anticipate trends, and propose innovative solutions for talent and customer attraction.
Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and guide regional sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Alternatively, a high school diploma / GED with significant years of sales experience.
Have experience in wellbore intervention; candidates with strong knowledge of completions within the oil & gas industry will also be considered.
Have strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams.
Be able to influence stakeholders and lead small teams toward achieving business objectives.
Have experience driving initiatives of moderate scope and measurable impact.
Be skilled at coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Be effective problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
Have proven analytical and organizational abilities, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
