1. Establish Sales Targets and Strategies with the Team and Ensure their Accomplishment
Establish sales targets and objectives
Create, develop and implement sales strategies to meet the established target
Identify new methods and techniques which can contribute to sales growth
Identify potential risks and countermeasures to offset them
Ensure accomplishment of the targets set by securing existing business and developing new opportunities with the team
2. Sales Opportunity Development
Identify new and alternate suppliers that are aligned with the objectives of the department
Identify sales opportunities – new projects or attack business with new and existing customers with the team
Identify trends and develop product concepts, prototypes/tool kits and presentation with the team
Participate at trade fairs and other events
Plan and organize sales activities including trade checks, symposiums, trade shows and others
3. Management of the Operations of the Department
Manage inventory by reviewing the forecast of the team and the stocks in coordination with the planners and buyers
Manage total outstanding accounts in with the team and Accounts Receivable department
Manage issues that may arise in sales activities like customer complaints
Establish and manage target margin and negotiate prices with suppliers
4. Sales Team Management
Monitor activities of the team thru CRM, call plan and visit report
Provide coaching and necessary training to support the needs of the team in meeting the target
Identify strengths and weaknesses of the team and determine ways to utilize and address them
