Overview:

This position is with Dark Matter Technologies, part of Andromeda within Constellation Software. Dark Matter Technologies is a leading provider of innovative mortgage technology solutions designed to modernize lending workflows and enhance operational efficiency for financial institutions. The role is responsible for selling software products and services for the LOS Sales Team within Dark Matter’s Revenue Organization, targeting both new and existing clients to drive revenue growth and support new-business objectives.

This is an advanced professional role, distinguished by deep specialized knowledge of mortgage technology and the broader mortgage industry, combined with a strong track record of sales success. Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience, typically ten (10) or more years in field sales along with broad, well-established relationships across banks, credit unions, and IMBs. Success in this position requires the ability to meet company goals by identifying creative, effective strategies to grow market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling products and/or services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted Dark Matter products and/or services
  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts
  • Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence
  • Prepares and presents proposals to clients - utilizing Dark Matter resources and tools
  • Negotiates, structures, and closes "deals" that meet customer expectations and Dark Matter’s ability to deliver
  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies
  • Meets sales goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Requires 10+ years of sales experience
  • Experience selling to financial institutions and mortgage banking operations at the C-suite level
  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Knowledge of Dark Matter’s products, services and capabilities a plus

Qualifications:

  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements and tailor solutions to those needs
  • Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $108,000.00 - $162,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.

Time off (US Only):

The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
