About your role
The core purpose of your role is to increase Fidelity’s assets and net new revenue in the Republic of Ireland in the Wholesale Fund market alongside working closely with the UK-based Institutional team to lead their business development efforts on the ground. You will be required to build and maintain strong and effective partnerships with clients. Reporting into Director, Global Financial Institutions, UK & Ireland, you will agree appropriate sales targets and develop a plan to meet and exceed these targets while ensuring the highest standards of client service are upheld. You will develop, maintain and foster internal and external relationships across key stakeholder groups.

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive business plan for the region to realise targets and KPIs, building deep relationships across the client base in your region to increase market share and help build and grow Fidelity’s presence in the Republic of Ireland Wholesale market.

  • Develop strong and commercially focused relationships with each account in the region focusing on Financial Advisors, Insurance and Wealth clients.

  • Lead Fidelity’s UK Institutional distribution efforts in the region by collaborating with Institutional colleagues, measured by helping to achieve their new business targets in Ireland.

  • Work closely with Marketing to help build out Fidelity's marketing and events strategy for the region.

  • Utilise Fidelity at an enterprise level to deepen client and prospect relationships.

  • Maintain accurate records of client engagements within the appropriate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Saleforce).

  • Represent the needs and aspirations of clients internally, ensuring that sales, propositions and communications are aligned.

  • Feed into product development process, based on client and industry knowledge.

  • The successful candidate will liaise with sales support and other regional field sales team members to ensure Fidelity's coverage and message are well coordinated and delivered in a consistent manor from region to region.

  • Actively engage in team meeting and discussions to share industry knowledge and client insight.

  • Maintain product and industry knowledge, through formal and informal training, providing feedback and key commercial insights back into the appropriate teams.

  • Comply with relevant regulatory requirements in the Republic of Ireland.

 About you

  • Demonstrable & significant experience of dealing with Wholesale clients in the Republic of Ireland region would be preferable.

  • Experience of working with Institutional clients in the Republic of Ireland region also welcomed but not essential.

  • Self-starter, motivated individual, excited by the challenge of building out Fidelity’s Wholesale and Institutional business in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Experience leading complex client relationships that require cross organisational collaboration across RFP, Product and CRM teams.

  • In possession of relevant investment management qualifications.

  • Demonstrable and in-depth understanding of the Fund industry and associate regulatory or legislative frameworks.

  • Strong working knowledge of and relationships with key clients in the Republic of Ireland would benefit the candidate.

  • Aptitude in use of analytics to identify opportunities and prioritise client engagement - data driven, client lead.
