What will you do...
The Business Analyst provides direct support to members of the ADUSA Customer Team, assisting with sales data analysis, trend analysis, new item performance tracking, inventory and forecasting optimization, post-promo analysis, and daily monitoring of business trends and performance.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively analyze and communicate business performance by using various data sources such as IRI and Power BI to dig into the data in order to provide action-oriented insights that drive sales, share and profit growth for both the customer and the company. The candidate should not only have a passion for mining for insights that deliver actionable results, but also a desire to be involved in the sales side of the business, including but not limited to, attending customer sales calls, collaborating on new item sell in presentations and taking part in customer negotiations.
This person should be adaptable to the changing needs of the business, be able to handle multiple priorities and have the ability to work independently on creative solutions to complex problems. This person will need to be highly organized, goal oriented, proactive in their approach, with a positive, team-player attitude.
This position works out of the Campbell’s Headquarter office located in Camden, NJ, and would require limited travel to customer markets such as Charlotte, NC and Portland, ME.
Proactively analyze account and market trends to provide actionable data to sales team to identify and realize all potential business opportunities.
Analyze data from multiple sources to generate effective pre-promotion forecasting and planning, and post-promotion analysis to measure effectiveness on a weekly and monthly basis.
Present data in clear, concise and effective manner to all levels of account and sales team.
Create and distribute sales reports to include: ad-hoc reporting, weekly sales and trends, market share, new launch performance, space productivity, account specific reports.
Participate in the preparation of category reviews, along with customer and joint business planning presentations
Drive new approaches to analyzing business results and trends
Consistently provide all requested information in an accurate and timely manner
Proactively scorecard and communicate DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing) principles.
Who you will work with...
You’ll report to the Team Lead, Delhaize - M&B and have cross-functional interaction within the customer team (Sales Finance, Category Management, Shopper Marketing), as well as with Headquarter personnel (Sales Strategy, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Revenue Growth Management) to varying degrees
What you will bring to the table… (Must Have)
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Minimum 4 years related analytical experience (elevated degrees count toward additional experience)
Knowledge, skill, and abilities required: Technical Skills, Analytical Skills, Decision Making Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Power BI, IRI /Nielsen

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$83,800-$120,500Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
