ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Regional Vice President of Public, Labor and Trust (RVP of PLT) Partnerships is a member of the Rightway Commercial team reporting to the Vice President - Public Sector, Labor & Trust Markets.

Rightway provides multiple solutions; our innovative, full-stack pharmacy benefit management (PBM) offering, as well as our navigation support and advocacy program, help employees be better healthcare consumers and plan sponsors save significant money. We combine a high-tech consumer portal with a high-touch dedicated concierge environment to provide consumers with the same level of support and guidance they would receive if they had a doctor or pharmacist in the family. We are focused on personalization, implementation excellence, advocacy, aligned incentives, and cost savings.

This key team member is responsible for driving growth in our Public, Labor, and Trust market segment, focusing on selling our PBM solution to accounts with 5,000 to 20,000 lives nationwide. This role will have a profound impact on the overall growth and success of Rightway, helping to further our mission of being a category-defining company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate with the VP of PLT, EVP of Growth, and CCO to develop and execute a business plan and associated resource requirements to grow these segments in 2026 and beyond.
  • Drive high conversion of new and existing deals within this segment by quarterbacking existing deals at the outset.
  • Build a nationwide pipeline by expanding existing relationships and proactively prospecting new ones to sell our PBM solution and achieve established revenue targets.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, including underwriting, marketing, strategic partnerships, product, implementation, and customer success teams, to develop deal strategies and operational support needs for successful onboarding of new


WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience selling to the Public, Labor, and Trust market segments
  • Experience: 2+ years within the PBM space, ideally in a sales capacity 
  • Exceptional sales track record, especially within Public, Labor, and Trust market segments, with demonstrated knowledge of solution development, buying processes, and RFP management.
  • High critical thinking skills / intellectual horsepower
  • Exceptional tenacity, resourcefulness, and grit 
  • Resilient and creative to qualify opportunities and shape the best strategies to win
  • Willing to travel nationally, depending on the needs of the selling cycle
  • Ability to work independently, showcasing exemplary follow-up and follow-through skills, as well as collaboration with management and teammates for wins


IDEAL:

  • Masters degree
  • Established relationships within the Public, Labor, and Trust segment


COMPENSATION:
SALARY (BEFORE COMMISSION):  $160,000-180,000/ yr

This role will also entitle the individual to receive equity in the company.
