POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for assisting the Receiving Team of City of Dream in making prompt and accurate delivery of materials to all user departments on a daily basis

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Distribution of received material to user departments in accordance with MELCO PO and vendor invoices
  • Ensures that all deliveries are made on a safe, timely and accurate fashion; that all deliveries should be completed before the close of business everyday
  • Secures the signature and employee ID by the receiver from the user department on the vendor invoices for all deliveries made
  • Conducts cleaning of the loading dock including loading transit chiller on a daily basis to ensure compliance with HACCP requirements
  • Follows all Receiving Standard Operating Procedures in the daily operations of receiving and loading dock
  • Reports immediately any irregularities pertaining to loading dock operation including but not limited to the breakdown of loading dock facilities/equipment, damage to Company property or personnel injury to his/her Superior for immediate remedial or corrective actions
  • Must be properly attired with Personal Protective Equipment while conducting daily operations
  • Performs all other duties within the scope of receiving responsibilities as assigned by the Receiving Supervisor, Receiving Assistant Manager and Receiving Manager

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • 100% delivery accuracy to user location and enter daily delivered data to Runner Track Sheet daily
  • Daily deliveries are within the matrix of daily and monthly targets
  • All written and electronic documentation must be completed on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience                                                                             

  • Experience in the capacity of Receiving and Warehouse in hospitality industry is beneficial; experience using ERP system is definite plus
  • Hard working, Takes initiatives without prompts and Good time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, general understand of hotel and business operations

Education                                                                              

  • Junior Secondary school academic qualifications.

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Previous experience in driving electric vehicles preferred
  • Previous experience in using manual pallet jack and hand pushed trolley preferred
  • Must be able to read, write and do basic mathematic calculations
  • Basic command of English
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, stooping, kneeling and lifting
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 kg
  • Must be able to work in both outdoor and indoor non-temperature controlled environments
  • Achieve agreed objectives and accepts accountability for results
  • Approachable, enthusiastic and energetic
