We are excited to seek applications for this newly created role within our Centralised Rostering Team. As our Rostering Support Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent rostering practices, optimising workforce planning, and supporting Residential Care teams across multiple locations.
You will work closely with the Head of Centralised Rostering in uplifting, coaching and mentoring a regionally dispersed team of Rosterers. Some regional travel to our facilities throughout New South Wales and the ACT will be required.
Providing real-time support and troubleshooting for rostering systems (UKG Dimensions)
Collaborate on workforce planning and workload planners
Monitor key metrics like open shifts, overtime, and agency use
Deliver training and maintain rostering guides and knowledge articles
Lead and support rostering partners when required
Analyse data to optimise staffing and improve efficiency
Drive continuous improvement and represent RSL LifeCare at industry events
Ensure compliance with WHS policies and maintain a safe work environment
Strong experience in workforce planning and roster management (preferably in aged care or public health)
Proven leadership in rostering teams
Compassionate and relationship-focused approach
Knowledge of aged care legislation and Fair Work Act
Expertise in UKG Dimensions and data analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Finance, Healthcare Management or similar will be well regarded
The Centralised Rostering Team (CRT) operate from 0600-2000 Monday to Friday. The Rostering Support Lead role will generally be “office hours” but with the expectation to offer coverage during our hours of operation, as required
Must have valid Police Clearance and full working rights
