Robotics Process Automation Manager

Job Description

Provide leadership and oversight for the automation function by managing the automation portfolio, aligning with enterprise QA and technology standards, and driving delivery of end-to-end automation solutions. The role ensures integration across multiple technologies (RPA, Power Automate, workflows, macros, mobile, and web platforms) while enabling efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Automation Leadership & Governance

  • Define and enforce automation standards aligned with CQA frameworks.
  • Own the automation portfolio from identification to deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with QA, Test Managers, DevOps, Architecture, and IT Security to deliver integrated solutions.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Lead reviews of existing automation practices to identify gaps and introduce enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with automation, AI/ML, and process improvement trends.
  • Promote cost-effective solutions and measurable business value delivery.

Delivery & Technical Oversight

  • Oversee feasibility assessments, complexity scoring, and prioritization of automation use cases.
  • Ensure robust design, build, testing, deployment, and support of automation initiatives.
  • Manage CI/CD pipeline integration and promote reusable automation components.
  • Provide technical support to remove blockers for developers/testers.

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Automation Developers and Controllers.
  • Promote transparency, team engagement, and cross-learning.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology.

Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • 4-5 years of software development or automation experience.
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical automation solutions.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • RPA Developer (Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism).
  • Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong programming background (Python, Java, .NET, VBScript, SQL, or equivalent).
  • Experience with RPA platforms (Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of SDLC, system integration, APIs, and database management.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Agile/DevOps experience (Scrum, Kanban) desirable.
