Job Description

Manage, control and monitor stability and quality across the automation landscape including day-to-day execution of bots, workflows, and scripts, ensuring they run reliably and security that deliver measurable business value. The role combines analytical precision, monitoring discipline and a future-focused mindset while collaborating with Automation Developers and IT operations to ensure business continuity while driving continuous improvement.

Automation Monitoring & Control

  • Act as the “control tower” for all automation executions across RPA, Power Automate, workflows, and macros.
  • Monitor schedules, queues, and dashboards to ensure smooth and timely runs.
  • Manage incident handling, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and recommend design or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Developers to optimize solutions and embed monitoring within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leverage performance data to proactively improve automation stability and efficiency.

Quality Assurance & Stability

  • Define operational standards for monitoring, exception handling, and reporting.
  • Ensure automations achieve agreed service levels (SLAs) and compliance with IT and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain transparency through run logs, audit trails, and performance metrics.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with business process owners to validate outcomes and address issues.
  • Provide clear reporting on automation health and reliability to management and stakeholders.
  • Contribute insights to Agile ceremonies and risk reviews, highlighting operational readiness.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • RPA Developer (Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism).
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT operations, QA, or automation support.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Hands-on experience with RPA orchestration tools (Automation Anywhere Control Room, UiPath Orchestrator, Blue Prism Control).
  • Familiarity with Power Automate monitoring and exception handling.
  • Strong SQL/database knowledge for troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of SDLC, system integration, APIs, and database management.
