BHCOR-Cor ICU CCU Dept. I Corbin, KY 
CCU is a 10-bed unit dedicated to providing intensive care.
Serves patients with both medical and surgical diagnoses.
Focuses on close monitoring, advanced interventions, and multidisciplinary care for critically ill individuals.
Critical Care is a 10-bed unit providing critical care for patients with both medical and surgical diagnosis.

Job Description:

  • Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. 

  • Assessment of patients’ needs. 

  • Development of patient care plan(s) 

  • Provision of direct care. 

  • Management of patient care delivery. 

  • Demonstration of leadership skills. 

  • Support for quality care. 

  • Customer relations and healing environment. 

Requirements: 

  • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.  

  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.  

  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.  

  • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.  

  • Basic Life Support.  

  • Glucometer Training
