Job Description

This role supports risk oversight across multiple domains including systems, AI/ML, cloud, and cybersecurity within Digital and Systems Risk Oversight (DSRO). It works closely with the Risk Automation & Intelligence Lead and other cross-functional teams to drive consistent execution of data and technology risk programs that enable a data-driven risk culture.

The individual balances strategic engagement with technical depth, prioritizes effectively, and influences stakeholders to mature oversight capabilities. They are curious, business-focused, and comfortable challenging existing processes. They thrive in ambiguity, collaborate across teams, and identify and escalate technology-related risks.

This role also accelerates automation using low-code tools including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) and Python to build intelligent monitoring, auto-tagging, and streamlined risk processes. It requires a commitment to learning and applying new and advanced technologies as needed to enhance oversight efficiency and effectiveness.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than six years of applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in technology risk, IT governance, or process automation.

- 5+ years of experience working with large data sets, and optimizing data processes

- 5+ years of experience with data visualization/exploration tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), SharePoint, SQL, and Python.

- Proven ability to work with large datasets, optimize data processes, and extract meaningful insights.

- Experience developing out-of-the-box AI solutions using tools like Copilot Studio and AI Builder.

- Experience with ServiceNow development preferred.

- Strong understanding of U.S. bank risk management frameworks and regulatory environments.

- Technical acumen in databases, data models/lakes, integration techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Skilled in data visualization, process modeling, application testing/design, and debugging.

- Effective communicator with strong project management, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills.

- Strategic, curious, and adaptable with a bias for action and comfort navigating ambiguity.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
