Risk management experience rewarded
As a Risk and Controls Advisor on the Procurement team, you’ll play a key role in managing risk by ensuring key controls are in place, tested and effective. You’ll also be responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly procurement reports for management.

What you’ll do:

  • Facilitate risk and control assessments on new and existing procurement processes
  • Provide coaching and training regarding controls and remediation actions
  • Collaborate with the operation team on new systems and processes to ensure internal controls are in place
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports
  • Monitor standards for business process documentation

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, professional accounting designation and at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Knowledge of risk control assessment processes, governance and management theories, practices and trends
  • Knowledge of procurement practices is an asset
  • A strong understanding for data, systems and reporting tools
