CACI is seeking a RF Engineering Lead for the C-C5ISR Division under our Spectrum Superiority line of business (LoB). In this role, you will serve as both a technical expert and lead to a group of RF Engineers that drives innovation in RF hardware design activities for C-C5ISR products.
Responsibilities
- Drive accountability throughout the RF Engineering team to meet commitments and use best practices.
- Mentor and provide leadership for the RF Engineers. Help develop career plans and development for the RF Engineering Team.
- Support the Hardware Design Engineering Lead to set resource priorities and RF Engineering activities based on Program/Customer needs.
- Measure RF components/sensors/subsystems, including performance in chamber and range environments.
- Use modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS to understand performance analysis.
- Perform modeling and analysis of link budgets, RF cascades, electromagnetic emissions (EME), antenna patterns, phase noise, receiver sensitivity, transmitter power, spurious signals, modulation, isolation, and ADC characteristics.
- Work with various engineering disciplines to provide simulated test vectors and analyze test results.
- Develop system to component level performance budgets using theory and simulation.
- Be hands-on to bring up RF chains including antennas, antenna feeds, RF front end, and baseband/modem.
Qualifications
Required:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 7+ years of RF technical work, primarily in the EW, Defense, or Aerospace industry.
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience programming with MATLAB or other scripting language (e.g. Python), simulation tools (e.g. HFSS)
- Experience with SMT-based PCB RF/MW circuit design, frequency planning, spur analysis, and PLL integration.
- Have experience working with frequencies from microwave to millimeter wave (1 to 40 GHz)
- Have experience driving best practices and industry standards within an engineering organization.
- Have a hardware development background.
- Have experience with performing bid and pursuit efforts.
- Must have current TS/SCI

- Advanced Degree
- 7+ years of RF technical work, primarily in the EW, Defense, or Aerospace industry.
- Experience with beamforming and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technologies.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$131,800 - $290,000
