The Revenue Integrity Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of revenue cycle systems to ensure accurate healthcare claim and encounter submissions across WellPower. This role ensures data integrity in payer submissions, system builds, and reporting processes that directly support revenue cycle performance.

The analyst leverages tools such as MS SQL Server, DB Visualizer, and UKG to validate data, manage system configurations, troubleshoot errors, and develop reports, dashboards, and state reporting files. Additionally, this role supports internal workflow logic and collaborates cross-functionally across multiple teams to enhance revenue cycle operations.

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Credentialing, HISM, and Quality teams to optimize revenue cycle workflows and automate key processes.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize billing system rules, logic, and coding to ensure accurate, timely claims and encounter submissions.
  • Manage claims and state encounter submissions, troubleshoot errors, and ensure compliance with ANSI X12 EDI standards.
  • Maintain payer-specific configurations, including service codes, rates, modifiers, and error resolution logic.
  • Build, test, and maintain EHR system configurations for billing, scheduling, and state reporting requirements.
  • Update system rules and workflows in response to payer policy changes, organizational needs, or regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee BHASO state reporting encounters, ensuring accurate formatting and timely submission.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and system widgets using SQL, DB Visualizer, and UKG to support revenue operations and data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze billing and encounter data to identify trends, resolve errors, and uncover opportunities for revenue recovery.
  • Own critical processes such as PNGP logic, scheduling calendar code maintenance, and other key revenue cycle workflows.
  • Recommend system enhancements and workflow improvements to support organizational goals.
  • Document processes, system configurations, and issue resolutions to maintain team knowledge continuity.
  • Train and support end-users on system functionality, billing logic, and reporting best practices.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience working in Healthcare Claims, Medical Billing, and/or Medical Coding.
  • Advanced proficiency in EHR systems, billing platforms, and payer requirements, including ANSI X12 standards.
  • Experience building and analyzing reports using SQL tools (SSMS, DB Visualizer) or Crystal Reports to support revenue cycle optimization.
  • Experience with accounting and/or nonprofit healthcare billing (preferred).

Work Location: This position is based in Denver, CO. Candidates located in the Denver metropolitan area are preferred. Remote candidates may also be considered if the reside in any of the following states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Wyoming
