RETAIL OPERATIONS PROJECT MANAGER
Fixed term contract starting ASAP until end of 2026
ABOUT THE JOB
In the context of accelerating Retail ambitions and the development of omnichannel strategies, the Europe Fragrance & Beauty entity is striving for operational excellence to support Boutique activities and deliver a seamless client experience at every touchpoint. Within the Europe Fragrance & Beauty Operations Department, you will join the Retail Operations team to support them on a daily basis across the Europe and Middle East region.
Our role focuses on:
Product supply and ensuring smooth flows between the Supply Chain and points of sale
Digital and IT tools that support the client experience and the smooth running of boutiques (checkout, stock management, service booking, reporting, etc.)
Monitoring of services and operational standards: uniforms, maintenance, Retail norms and best practices
Coordination of Retail projects across Europe & the Middle East to ensure harmonization of practices and operational performance across the network
Retail Operations do not cover marketing or visual merchandising topics.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
We are recruiting a Retail Operations Project Manager to lead strategic projects related to back-office operations, including stock management, boutique replenishment, and the interoperability of Retail and Supply Chain information systems (SAP, AX).
Acting as a Business Owner, you will structure, lead and deploy solutions and processes with a strong operational impact, always aiming for business efficiency, continuous improvement, and data reliability.
Your main responsibilities:
Scoping & Design
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business needs
• Develop functional specifications and co-build the target solution with business, IT, and partner teams
• Ensure consistency and interoperability with other systems and internal tools
Steering & Deployment
• Monitor developments, testing, user acceptance and ensure adaptation of business processes
• Lead change management and facilitate adoption: communication, training
• Deploy solutions while supporting teams
Reporting & Governance
• Identify risks and make recommendations
• Prepare and lead progress reviews
• Represent business vision within project governance bodies
Support & Continuous Improvement
• Serve as the business reference for Retail users, gather feedback and coordinate enhancements
• Propose optimizations to improve the efficiency of processes and tools

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
● Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in management, procurement, or supply chain
● Confirmed experience (5 to 7 years) in Retail or Supply Chain project management, with a strong understanding of back-office processes and IT flows
● Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
● Analytical and results-driven mindset
● Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and cross-functional leadership
● Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
