Residential Management Sales Executive I

As a Residential Management and Development Sales Executive, you will be an integral part of our dynamic sales team. Your primary responsibilities will center on developing relationships and sales pipelines directly with multifamily and single-family rental owners, management companies, and consultants who represent these customers. The bulk of your sales interactions will take place through email and phone interactions, with occasional in-person meetings and trade shows.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Find potential multifamily/single-family prospects through research, networking, and referrals. Initiate contact through cold calls, email, and networking, and to qualify leads, build pipelines and close sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to create supporting content for the Residential Management and Development team.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with industry associations, existing customers, consultants and establish beneficial feedback loops to capture ideas for ways to improve our product offering, customer experience, and contracting process and competitiveness. Work with internal partners to support changes that improve our position in the Multi and Single-Family segments. Travel to industry events and conferences to build face-to-face relationships with existing and prospective customers and consultant partners.
  • Consultant Sales Management: Listen actively to potential customers and consultants, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to fit. Share expert product knowledge and educate customers and consultants in making informed decisions. Deliver effective sales presentations via phone, in person meetings, and online platforms to educate customers and leverage feedback to fine-tune your approach.
  • Sales Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Look for opportunities to engage customers and consultants for opportunities to capture new accounts. Collaborate with peers to share successful sales strategies.
  • CRM Utilization: Keep customer information and interactions up to date in the CRM system. Use Salesforce CRM data to analyze sales trends and identify areas for improvement. Help streamline CRM processes by providing feedback on usability and functionality.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners at all levels. Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer care, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Share customer and consultant feedback to contribute to product and service enhancements. Participate in regular team meetings to foster a culture of open communication and shared insights.

Experience

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software for lead management and sales tracking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while supporting team goals
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for face-to-face meetings or conferences
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field

Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.

Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues or external stakeholders, or visiting different departments.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings.

Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.
