Research Services Analyst

Operations - Spring Forest Rd Full time

Purpose:

Position interprets and processes copy requests from members, utilizing Member Access, and processes third party (non-owner) copy requests and verifications, utilizing Remedy, both accurately within the approved time period.  Position requires utilizing current and previous SECU systems to review and retrieve records and correctly assign indexes, utilizing OnBase.

Responsibilities:

  • 40% - Review and process any third-party (non-owner) verifications and copy requests in Remedy and Member Access using the direction received from Legal Services accurately and within the approved time period.
  • 20% - Interpret and process copy requests from members through Member Access, using current and previous SECU systems accurately and within the approved time period.
  • 20% - Provide processing support and training for Verification of Deposits and Asset requests and copy requests received through Remedy.  Key and balance required transactions in Margo each day with accuracy.
  • 10% - Provide support to branch employees at all levels and other operations departments submitted via phone and mail.  Ensure all inquiries are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • 10% - Operate imaging and scanning software to correctly assign image indexes and import needed branch and operations tickets into OnBase.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent experience. 
Must have at least two years SECU experience, some experience in Research
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and as an individual, while maintaining a positive attitude.
 Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
Demonstrate a focus to detail with good organizational skills.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn all aspects of Research Services
Experience with Remedy and OnBase.
Have or be willing to quickly obtain a notary certification.
 

Job Environment

Office setting with physical proximity to other employees. Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone. Some hybrid work available.

Physical Demands

Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Job requires a substantial amount of sitting.

Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information.

Use hands and fingers to press telephone keypad and lift telephone receiver.

Must be able to comprehend phone calls.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
