Research Associate (Organic Electronics)

Prof Wei Lin Leong’s lab in EEE Department of Nanyang Technological University is looking for a Research Associate to contribute to project related to organic electronic devices. The aim of this project is to understand the charge transport mechanism in mixed conducting polymers, exploring their application as a new class of multifunctional electronics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabricate and characterize high performance organic electronic devices such as transistors, photodetectors and chemical sensors

  • Develop new class of multifunctional devices using mixed ionic-electronic polymers

  • Assist in lab management

Job Requirements:

  • Master degree in relevant discipline area such as Chemistry/Materials Science/Electrical Engineering/Electronics

  • Have knowledge and experience in design, device fabrication and characterization of organic electronic devices 

  • Direct hands-on experience with nanomaterials such as electrically-active polymers, electrolytes, polymer composites 

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both academic and industry collaborators 

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
