Raytheon’s business development organization, Requirements & Capabilities (R&C,) seeks an experienced and strategic Curriculum Senior Manager to drive innovative, end-to-end learning programs that enhance the effectiveness of our R&C organization and support enterprise-wide growth. This role serves as a key partner enabling R&C to deliver winning strategies by equipping personnel with cutting-edge tools, insight, and skills to thrive in high-stakes defense and capture environments.
What You Will Do
- Engage with senior leaders across Requirements & Capabilities (R&C), capture, proposal, and enterprise functions to assess workforce skill gaps and shape curriculum strategies that align with evolving business objectives, organizational growth priorities, and enterprise-wide learning and development (L&D) initiatives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams across Raytheon and RTX to ensure training content aligns with RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM), and applicable DoD/FAR acquisition frameworks; leverage shared tools and L&D best practices to drive consistency and effectiveness in curriculum development
- Curate or lead the development of learning assets including instructor-led modules, self-paced courses, simulations, and case studies that are tailored to the needs of Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) and pursuit teams in the areas of capture leadership, customer engagement, competitive analysis, proposal development, and pipeline management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training calendars; coordinate logistics for workshops and learning events, including scheduling, venue setup, materials preparation, and stakeholder communications
- Manage contracts and relationships with external learning vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of instructional design and training services; oversee vendor performance, negotiate terms, and align deliverables with organizational learning objectives
- Generate and deliver accurate, timely reports on learner needs, training completions, and engagement metrics; leverage data analytics to inform curriculum improvements, compliance tracking, and workforce development strategies
- Facilitate or support instructor-led workshops, webinars, and executive-level training events
- Maintain and administer SharePoint sites to ensure content accuracy, user accessibility, and compliance with governance policies; update architecture, permissions, and documentation to support collaboration
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and 10+ years of experience in training delivery, instructional design in a defense acquisition and capture lifecycle environment, and experience with cross-functional collaboration across a corporate matrixed environment; or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience
- Experience executing corporate learning initiatives across multi-billion dollar revenue-generating, matrixed enterprises
- Experience with defense acquisition processes, product and program development, production and sustainment systems and capability development frameworks
- Experience supporting capture/proposal teams or business development operations in a defense or aerospace environment
- Experience with administration and development in learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday) and content development tools (e.g., Adobe, Articulate, Camtasia)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Industry-recognized Program Management certification (e.g., PMP), or equivalent to Raytheon PM Level 6 certification
- Experience with adult learning theory, instructional design models, and training evaluation methodologies
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen; able to apply structured approaches to support continuous improvement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); skilled in creating complex spreadsheets, professional presentations, and collaborative documentation
- Former military experience as an operator, acquisitions professional and/or training

- Please consider the following role type definitions as you apply for this role - Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
