As a Rentals Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by managing a diverse range of events from start to finish. You’ll directly impact one of Zillow’s fastest-growing business lines, bringing new ideas for process improvement and automation. Oversee and manage approximately 100+ events per year, often handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Coordinate all aspects of event preparation, including registration, payment processing, logistics, and communication with stakeholders.
Serve as the primary contact for the Rentals Sales Team, processing event requests and providing timely support.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reconciliation, including invoice and expense report processing.
Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to align events with business goals and brand standards.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within event operations.
Travel to events as needed (approximately once per month, subject to event calendar).
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
2+ years of experience in corporate events, event management, or a related field.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and responsiveness in delivering high-quality work.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of personality types, both internally and externally.
Analytical and resourceful problem-solver, comfortable adapting to shifting business needs.
Proficiency in Google Drive, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and relevant event management technologies (e.g., Zuddl, Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau).
Willingness and ability to travel to events (approximately 25% of the time; actual frequency may fluctuate).
