Job Summary:

The MwR Remote Monitoring Engineer focuses on diagnosing and addressing issues related to hardware and software through service request management and proactive monitoring routines. They ensure timely interventions, improving system uptime and leveraging tools like telemetry and diagnostic software.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system health and assess device compliance issues daily.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software configuration problems.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent system failures.
  • Perform verification checks for system compatibility and user functionality.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage device incidents and escalate unresolved issues.

  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in remote monitoring tools and telemetry systems.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnoses and resolves system issues effectively.
  • Proactive Thinking: Takes initiative to identify and address potential system failures.
  • Communication: Communicates findings and solutions effectively across teams.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and telemetry software.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and edge IT management.
  • Experience with proactive monitoring services in device compliance and application management.
  • Expertise in Network Infrastructure for efficient device connectivity and advanced optimization strategies for reducing waste and improving operational efficiency.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
