We want to help members navigate the healthcare system in a better and safer way. This means getting the right care at the right place at the right time. As a triage clinical guide (nurse) you’ll be responsible for providing telephonic advice to members when they call Devoted for clinical needs. By providing clinical advice and triaging clinical concerns when members call Devoted, you can help members achieve better health outcomes. 

You'll serve as an advocate for these members, helping them get the care they need, and connecting them with necessary resources.

Our ideal triage clinical guide (nurse)  is caring, compassionate, solution-oriented and enthusiastic about providing an outstanding experience for Devoted Health’s members. This person has excellent clinical judgment and triage skills, is ready to innovate, and is excited about changing the way health care is delivered. Required skills and experience:

  • A compact RN license and willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed (for non-compact states)

  • A minimum of 4 years of RN patient care experience

  • Prior clinical triage experience in any of the following settings: Emergency Department, urgent care, primary care or clinical patient care helpline

  • Telehealth experience required.

  • Exceptional communication and listening skills

  • Enjoy fast paced work, eager to task switch and happy to help out colleagues

  • Eager to learn and able to quickly develop strong skills navigating electronic medical records and remote telephone and virtual video systems.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred

  • Associates degree preferred

  • Experience caring for older adults 

  • Experience with population health or value-based care programs

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • This is a full time, 40 hour per week night shift role.

  • You will work three scheduled clinical shifts per week: either 6p-6:30am or  8p-8:30am EST, including weekends.

  • Engaging with members by telephone to provide clinical advice

  • Connecting members with the care they need, whether it be triage to providers within Devoted Medical, primary care, urgent care, emergent care.

  • Fiercely promote our model of caring for patients like family and safeguarding our collaborative team based culture.

  • Deliver exceptional support to patients with urgent care complaints  across multiple geographies by leveraging video telehealth visits and a multidisciplinary team to keep them safely at home.

  • Listening carefully to patients to provide medical education, answer questions and help direct patients to the next level of care they need.

  • Working as member of team, including other RNs, nurse practitioners, physicians and medical assistants to make sure members need the care they need.

  • Enthusiastically participating in learning sessions, team building activities, eager to grow and continue to develop personal skills and teach others.

Salary Range:  $54,150 - $103,500/ year

The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
