About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Relief Plant Supervisor to support the efficient running of our concrete production site. This is a key operational role that ensures our batching and despatch processes run smoothly, safely, and in line with both internal standards and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate computer-based systems for batching and despatch of concrete.

  • Communicate effectively with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working order.

  • Supervise contractors and hauliers to maintain a safe and efficient site.

  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Legislation.

  • Monitor and maintain concrete quality in line with our internal quality scheme.

  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping across the site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in plant operations or concrete production (preferred).

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A safety-first mindset with knowledge of relevant legislation.

  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing site needs.

  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with batching systems (training provided if needed).
