About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Relief Plant Supervisor to support the efficient running of our concrete production site. This is a key operational role that ensures our batching and despatch processes run smoothly, safely, and in line with both internal standards and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate computer-based systems for batching and despatch of concrete.
Communicate effectively with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
Carry out routine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Supervise contractors and hauliers to maintain a safe and efficient site.
Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Legislation.
Monitor and maintain concrete quality in line with our internal quality scheme.
Uphold high standards of housekeeping across the site.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in plant operations or concrete production (preferred).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A safety-first mindset with knowledge of relevant legislation.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing site needs.
Basic IT skills and familiarity with batching systems (training provided if needed).
