Job Description

The Reliability Engineer role is focused on developing and implementing corporate preventive and predictive maintenance systems—primarily using IBM Maximo CMMS—for manufacturing facilities. The goal is to enhance plant equipment availability, safety, quality, and operational efficiency through best-in-class reliability strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the updates and creation of assets, spare parts lists, and PM’s (routes and job tasks) for existing equipment/systems.
  • Modify existing PM’s as needed, based on recommendations from the reliability and maintenance personnel, and completing PM optimizations.
  • Provide necessary service support and training to Plant Maximo users, utilizing the Maximo Best Practices.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the Maintenance and Operations employees.

Qualifications

  • Completion of University degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical Engineering)
  • 3 or more years of reliability experience in continuous process manufacturing environments.
  • Good working knowledge of standard equipment used in production facilities – motors, pumps, couplings, speed reducers, actuators, linear & rotational bearings, conveyors, and electrical/pneumatic components/equipment.
  • Proficiency with Maximo or similar CMMS, and MS Office.
  • Experience with creating PM’s for equipment/systems, and in some cases for equipment without any existing PM’s.
  • Experience with creating spare parts lists, including identification of critical spares.
  • Analytical skills with high level of accuracy and strong work ethics.
