Job Description:

Welcome to Addison Gilbert Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full service, 70-bed medical/surgical acute care facility in Gloucester, MA. Founded in 1889, the hospital provides state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann community in specialties such as radiology, cancer care, primary and pediatric care, cardiology, inpatient geriatric services, and emergency medicine. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a Primary Stroke Service Hospital. We serve as a primary point of entry for patients accessing this service. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician at all times. Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes

Per Diem

Along with excellent critical thinking skills, a desire to exceed patient expectations and good interpersonal skills, we require:

    • State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)

    • BLS Certification

    • At least one year of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting and ED experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN

  • ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 - $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
