Job Description

  • The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse evaluates & treats patients with a wide variety of cardiac disabilities in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. 
  • The Cardiac Rehab Nurse will be educated and experienced in treating the adult population helping to achieve their risk factor reduction in cardiovascular disease using various therapeutic exercises, activities, and educational classes.
  • The Cardiac Rehab Nurse is responsible for documenting all patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department and JCAHO requirements.

Hours:  Per Diem


Qualifications: 

  • RN Massachusetts license required

  • ASN required

  • Current BLS certification required

  • Current ACLS certification required

  • Prior experience in critical care and cardiac risk factor intervention preferred with special training in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
