Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care Clinic
Shift: Full time days
Location: Blue Springs, MO
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to manage patient care delivery within our primary care clinic. This role involves utilizing the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will coordinate care, perform clinical duties, and provide guidance to supporting clinical staff.
Core Duties:
- Provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Perform telephone triage, manage efficient patient flow, and schedule emergent appointments.
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Serve as the clinic's subject matter expert for patient education, assessment interpretation, and documentation.
- Administer medications, insert IV access, and provide advice/recommendations to patients and families.
- Delegate tasks and supervise Medical Assistants and LPNs according to Scope of Practice and demonstrated competencies.
- Enter admission orders as directed by providers and manage clinical supply maintenance.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- Must possess an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in both Kansas (KS) and Missouri (MO).
- Note: Candidates with a single license may receive a contingent offer, requiring dual licensure completion within 90 days of the start date.
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Flexibility to assume Medical Assistant, LPN, or other administrative duties as clinic needs arise.
