Regional Vice President, Portfolio

The Regional Vice President, Portfolio will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation on all projects within a defined region. The role will serve in an advisory role on Workday deployments and ensure success by working collaboratively with the Client’s executives/project manager and Engagement Manager/Portfolio Manager to resolve issues that stand in the way of project success.

This position will also be responsible for building executive level relationships with key Workday representatives in the region, partnering with Collaborative Sales in region, and provide oversight, mentoring, guidance, and career counsel to Engagement Managers and Portfolio Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building and managing regional consulting practice including successful project services delivery, business development, intellectual capital development along with project staff selection and development.

• This position will add value to Cognizant by achieving defined successful outcomes for clients, meeting budgeted revenue, achieving client satisfaction, and assisting Sales organization activities within the region.

• Oversight responsibility for multiple deployments in region and serve as Executive Sponsor on projects within the region.

• Responsible for key performance metrics for the professional service operations in the region that includes top line revenue, margin, utilization, client satisfaction, and client reference ability.

• Work with the client and project teams to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project success, including service delivery, contracts, scope and/or timeframes by serving as escalation point for issues beyond project team authority. • Review and assist Sales in development of proposals and work scopes for business and technical integrity, inclusion of best practice approach, quantification of risk, and strategic direction prior to presentation to client. • Understand the competition, have good knowledge of the product lines, and can strongly communicate the advantages of our offerings.

• Lead and assist with continuous growth of business through innovative solutions delivered in a repeatable, scalable, and cost-effective manner.

• Responsible for ensuring the project team is exceeding client expectations.

• Work collaboratively with the Services team to develop unit strategies, policies, and processes.

• Directly manage Collaborative Solutions Engagement Managers and Portfolio Managers in region.

• Responsible for execution of Collaborative’s CYNERGYTM Implementation Methodology and ensure the methodology is deployed consistently across engagements.

• Ensure projects are properly planned, staffed, and delivered within contractual terms. Cognizant Proprietary and Confidential 2

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or related field

• Experience in Services Delivery, Program and Project management, client relationship management with demonstrated achievement in successfully implementing and managing Cloud, SaaS, ERP or applications such as Workday, Oracle, ADP, PeopleSoft, Lawson Software for medium to large clients across multiple industries. Specifically:

• Minimum 12 years of extensive client interface experience in consulting and professional services, or similar position

• Managed a $30M Portfolio with P&L responsibilities • 10+ years project/program management experience with HCM, payroll or financial implementations for medium and larger, complex organizations

• At least 8 years of enterprise - class software solution deployment experience • At least 5+ years’ experience working in fast paced, growing, professional services organization with previous direct billable consulting service track record

• Working knowledge with at least two of the following business areas: Human Resources, PMO, Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger or Accounts Payable/Receivable, Online technologies, Business Process, or change management

• Demonstrated success in a leadership capacity of a professional service delivery and/or operations management

• Successful candidates have a balance of functional (business) and technical experience

• Impeccable Client Service • Possess project management and team lead experience

• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills • Strong personal leadership and management skills and skilled at leading and motivating teams

• Professional and polished demeanor; an effective and persuasive executive representative of the company

• Excellent business acumen and track record of successfully supporting sales organizations in partnership with delivering services

• Ability to participate at the strategic and tactical level of the company

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 02/10/2026 The annual salary for this position is between $223,660 - $282,864 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
