Regional Technical Sales Representative

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Regional Technical Sales Representative for the Horizontal Pumping business within the artificial lift segment. This role is located in the Permian Region.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the HPS solutions, targeting SWD operators and midstream companies in the Permian Basin

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Provide technical consultation on horizontal pump systems, including sizing, configuration, and operational optimization

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

  • Provide routine and special service support to customers by identifying and resolving challenges.

  • Assist with the installation, calibration and maintenance equipment.

  • May assist with training customers.

  • Interacts with operator level.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sales experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on SWD and midstream applications

  • Strong technical knowledge of horizontal pump systems and fluid handling equipment

  • Familiarity with Permian Basin operators, infrastructure, and regulatory landscape

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
