Regional Student Success Manager

The Regional Student Success Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, and continuous improvement of student services programs across the Ohio region. This position ensures program alignment with organizational goals, educational standards, and local student needs. The manager will work closely with local coordinators and will collaborate closely with school administrators and national team members to support new student programming, increase engagement, family satisfaction and re-enrollment efforts.

About the Opportunity

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination, and informed oversight of the student success program implementation in ACCEL Online Ohio Region
  • Provide direct support, coaching and feedback to assigned region ensuring programs are executed with fidelity, in alignment with organizational goals, and compliant with state regulations
  • Assist in developing and planning family and learning coach support trainings and programs
  • Drive national best practices, policies, and procedures for the student services school teams
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training of student services positions and other program roles as needed
  • Collect and analyze program data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Foster strong relationships with school leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Inform and lead professional learning communities, trainings, and workshops, and other various meetings to build capacity in school roles that will drive student engagement and improve academic outcomes
  • Manage program evaluation and development, including subject matter experts to drive innovation and promising practices
  • This role may also serve as the primary Student Success lead for one or more schools, directly supporting students and families

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling, Human Services, or related field of study
  • Five years professional experience
  • Experience managing a school-based student support services team or similar position
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to effectively use data insights to drive decision-making process

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education or related field
  • Previous secondary education teaching or administrative experience

The annual starting salary for this position is between $70,000 – $80,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

We offer the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, 10 paid holidays annually.

Paid Time Off: 12-month staff receive 22 days of paid time off annually.

We offer 4 unique health insurance plans to choose from that cover a wide range of deductibles and co- insurance levels. Our goal is to provide you with maximum choice in finding a plan that meets you and your family’s needs. Three of the plans are PPO plans with set co-pays for certain medical services, and one of the plans is a High Deductible Plan with set co-insurance levels after deductibles have been met. All plans offer both in-network and out-of-network coverage.
