Senior Regional Director or Regional Director (Based on Experience)

Gold Coast Region: Palm Beach County / Broward County, FL

We are looking for a passionate Senior Regional Director to join our team and make a difference. As a Senior Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring teens and delivering leadership training, managing staff to create impactful and fun programs, and managing program budgets and calendars for Jewish teens. Alongside your teammates, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.

This position may be filled at either the Regional Director or Senior Regional Director level. Both roles share core responsibilities, with the Senior Regional Director expected to assume expanded leadership and deeper strategic oversight.

SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As a Regional Director, a typical day will include:

  • Lead the BBYO community as they work with teens to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs including large scale community projects and four to five overnight conventions each year
  • Provide guidance and supervise the staff that work directly with local chapters
  • Manage a team of direct reports in the region to foster growth and implement plans
  • Work directly with teen leaders to expand membership and impact of BBYO throughout the region
  • Build partnerships and networks in the community
  • Manage broad-based fundraising efforts and relationship building
  • Attend summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you lead teen leadership programs
  • Participate in organizational projects, teams, and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.
  • Empower and inspire staff, teens, volunteers and advisors through your mentorship, coaching and training

In addition to the tasks above, a Senior Regional Director responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage and train volunteers.
  • Manage a member recruitment process that expands the pipeline of prospects, aligns stakeholders, and prepares teens to invite other teens to join BBYO.
  • Coordinate and execute large scale regional conventions and community-wide events.
  • Seek out and develop relationships with parents, alumni and community partners to mobilize more people to grow BBYO, and drive metrics.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, as a Regional Director, these skills are key to success:

  • Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred
  • Experience: 2-5 years of work experience (4-8 years of work experience as a Senior Regional Director)
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher

Regional Director Pay:  $58,000 - $68,000 

Senior Regional Director Pay:  $68,000 - $78,000
