The Regional Manager for Industrial Site Services (ISS) will be accountable for complete operational performance across the region, with safety and compliance as top priorities. This role drives profitable growth by leading customer services, operations, and Health & Safety performance with significant autonomy, while fostering business development, maximising efficiencies, and building a future pipeline of opportunities aligned with financial targets.

The Regional Manager sets strategic direction, develops leaders in a fast-paced environment, and drives continuous improvement to meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include ensuring safe systems of work, managing stakeholder relationships, innovating safer and more efficient working methods, and overseeing all financial elements including monthly account reviews, annual budgets, and regional P&L management.

What will you be doing?

  • Build strategic customer partnerships to deliver lean, industry-leading technical solutions, lead compliant operational bids, and maintain key client relationships positioning Veolia as their trusted expert partner.

  • Identify innovation opportunities and maximise customer integration by understanding their business drivers and sector developments.

  • Control costs and resources to add customer value and ensure fleet compliance.

  • Define and execute regional strategy aligned with business goals, set team objectives, drive engagement, and develop talent through succession planning and career development.

  • Champion a people-first culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and innovation while attracting, retaining, and developing top talent from within.

  • Lead on the ISS Steering Committee, manage Trade Union negotiations, and build strategic stakeholder relationships to drive organic growth.

  • Develop customer understanding of Net Zero offering to support them achieving their goals.

  • Deliver an ambitious carbon reduction strategy.


 

What are we looking for?

  • In depth knowledge of Industrial Site Services. 

  • Experience of leading & managing a large workforce. 

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and demands as well as hitting deadlines. 

  • Proven track record in customer management and engagement.
