Start Date: Flexible 

Pay: $58,000-$68,000

We are looking for a passionate Regional Director to join our Connecticut Valley Region team and make a difference. As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing membership, training regional and chapter teen leaders, deepening support for BBYO in the CVR community, and leading organization-wide initiatives that produce meaningful, Jewish experiences for Jewish teens. Alongside your team, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.

SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As a Regional Director, a typical day will include:

  • Lead the Connecticut Valley Region BBYO team to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs including large scale community projects and four to five overnight conventions each year
  • Empower and inspire staff, teens, volunteers and advisors through your mentorship, coaching and training
  • Manage teen leaders and the teen Regional Board to foster growth and implement plans
  • Work directly with teen leaders to expand membership and impact of BBYO throughout the region
  • Own building partnerships and networks in the community
  • Manage inter-departmental work to increase broad-based fundraising efforts and relationship building
  • Attend and contribute to planning BBYO immersive experiences and conferences such as Leadership Training Camp, International Convention, and Staff conference
  • Travel throughout the region to attend chapter programs, Regional events, and team meetings
  • Speak with parents of teens in the region to
  • Communicate with parents, stakeholders, and the community at large effectively via varying forms of outreach, including emails, phone calls, private messaging, and texts for example

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, as a Regional Director, these skills are key to success:

  • Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred
  • Experience: 2-5 years of work experience
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
