Position Summary
The D2C Product Category Specialist Assistant Manager for Air Conditioning will be responsible for product portfolio management, channel planning and promotion planning for the entire region.
Role and Responsibilities
Product & Pricing Management :
- Ensure proactive life cycle management from launch to EOL while maximising revenue and profitability for the responsible product category.
- Partner with respective business units on new product launch to ensure best in class go to market plans.
- Ensure pricing competitiveness against key competitors and/or retailers (Ongoing monitoring of competitor and retailer pricing and reaction on time).
- Ensure up to date price lists are maintained for the responsible products including price moves and analysis.
Sales & Promotion Management :
- Drive sales through 1) negotiating with BU PMs for effective offers and staying competitive in the market, 2) coming up with a better CEJ for the product category he/she owns, together with DMM and Marketing Team, 3) supporting for EDMs differentiated by different groups
- Manage new product launch and promotional calendar, liaising with PMs for timely execution
- Execute promotion and marketing activities to exceed the revenue and traffic targets of all online channels including ePromoters
- End-to-End planning of Online Sales Campaign & Promotions interacting with internal stakeholders (PM, Legal, Marketing, Logistics teams) and external agencies.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on shaping differentiated & integrated marketing communications
- Implementing new growth initiatives and exploring new opportunities with focus on demand generation
Stock & Order Management :
- Regular check on subsidiaries’ sales forecast and monitor inventory levels to ensure healthy operations and maximum sales opportunity
- Proactive engagement with SCM teams for supply and inventory planning

Skills and Qualifications
- Degree holder with at least 6 years of relevant working experience in eCommerce / sales / product management within the online or B2B space.
- Expertise in both strategy & plan development, as well as execution of key initiatives & programs to drive online business growth
- High energy and comfort level towards working in a fast-paced and matrix organization environment (role have to be person-in-charge of a product group as well as some subsidiaries)
- Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with subsidiaries and ability to drive consensus, execution across teams, multi-function organization and different level of hierarchy
- Good project management skills, to be able to effectively work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure sales target is being met.
