About the Role

As a Regional AME Process Engineering Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in defining and coordinating automated manufacturing processes for electronic products within the region. You will work closely with project engineering and development teams to ensure optimal design, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery of manufacturing systems. In this senior individual contributor role, you will coordinate project activities, manage process technology representation across the region, and support other functions such as Quality and Project Management

What You Will Do

  • Define automated manufacturing processes for electronic products, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and cost targets in collaboration with the Project Engineering and Development teams
  • Evaluate various assembly line concepts together with the Simulation Engineer, focusing on feasibility and efficiency
  • Represent and provide regional-level expertise in at least one manufacturing technology, offering support to other departments on related technical issues
  • Coordinate, monitor, and support the procurement and implementation of automated production lines, ensuring smooth handover to operational teams
  • Lead project engineers involved in automation and industrialization efforts, while supporting cross-functional departments such as Quality and Project Management
  • Drive manufacturing cost reduction through optimization of equipment capacity and process efficiency

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of NPI processes and manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering design software
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and SAP systems
  • Understanding of automotive industry standards such as VDA, ISO/TS, IATF, 8D, MSA, SPC, Pareto, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA

What Makes You Eligible

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science)
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, or industrialization
  • Proficiency in English at a communicative level
  • Willingness to travel
