Shipment Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and company standards.
Documentation: Verify and process receiving documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders, and update inventory records.
Inventory Management: Accurately record received items into inventory systems, ensuring proper storage and organization of products.
Quality Control: Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the supervisor and work with suppliers to resolve problems.
Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure timely and efficient handling of received goods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience (2+ yrs) in receiving, inventory management, or warehouse operations is preferred.
Basic knowledge of receiving procedures and inventory control.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
