Job Summary: You will serve as a READINESS AND INTEGRATION SPECIALIST in the SURFACE ANALYTICS GROUP of COMNAVSURFLANT.

Major Duties:

  • You will be a specialist within the Surface Analytics, developing and maintaining key readiness metrics and visualization across PESTONI (personnel, equipment, supply, training, ordnance, networks, and infrastructure).
  • You will collaborate with these various organizations to data-mine and apply data analytics to provide metric-based recommendations regarding Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE) plans and solutions.
  • You will be responsible for assessing the capability and capacity of Force, Group, and the Unit's ability to execute all mission areas across the spectrum of supporting pillars to include PESTONI.
  • You will coordinate and integrate Force Generation metrics by analyzing and evaluating the organization’s ability to man, train, equip, and maintain the Atlantic Surface Force.
  • You will be responsible for integrating inputs and assessing execution of business activities, critical support services, and long-range strategic planning across a major Multi-mission Type Commander (TYCOM).
  • You will serve as team leader and be responsible for assigning segments of the project to other participants, coordinating the efforts of the team and consolidating individual efforts into complete integrated products.
  • You will develop metrics-based plans for human resource management, personnel assignments, corporate information management, business planning while identifying deficiencies/shortfalls and corrective actions for continuous process improvement.
  • You will research and provide recommendations on long range staffing capacity, capability and workforce mix, as well as organization design and construct.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in and be able to data-mine and apply data analytics to provide metric-based recommendations to improve surface readiness. Experience in and must understand and be able to apply the PESTONI model to align with Commander's guidance and optimize Surface Force Readiness. Experience in and must be able to coordinate issues with senior leadership and be able to clearly communicate recommendations in line with the Commanding Officer's intent. Experience in and must have understanding in Force Generation.
