Your challenges?
As part of the Lighting Controller Driver team, you will contribute to the standardization and deployment of new DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodologies as well as the migration of projects to a new tool environment. Your mission will include:
Supporting the migration of DFMEA processes into the new Valeo tool.
Making a status report of existing DFMEA blocks on the new tool.
Defining a standard database of DFMEA unit blocks to be shared and reused across Platform and customer projects.
Contributing to the update of the Valeo Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Estimation Tool, ensuring alignment with CAP50 objectives.
Calculating and analyzing PCF and DFMEA data for multiple OEM customers for European, Asian and American Market
Supporting intelligence cycle activities:
Data collection and structuring on DFMEA blocks and product information.
Analysis and visualization to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
Dissemination of findings through dashboards, internal reports, and presentations.
By the end of your internship, you will have contributed directly to improving DFMEA efficiency, standardization across platforms, and supporting Valeo’s CO₂ reduction roadmap.

You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (M1 – Bac+4) in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Data Science, or a related field.
A first experience in business intelligence, reliability analysis, or product development is a plus.
You are assertive, meticulous, curious, and proactive, with a strong motivation to help the automotive industry shift toward safer and more sustainable solutions.
You have strong technical skills, including data structuring and visualization tools (Excel, macros, or Power BI).
You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and feel comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
You have a strong interest in DFMEA/AMDEC methodologies, sustainable engineering, and automotive innovation.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in DFMEA standardization, tool migration, and environmental strategy within an international group leading the transformation of automotive technology.
