The opportunity
We are looking for an R&D Software Developer - C# and Test Automation to our development team in Västerås to drive innovation and solution development in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure.

How you’ll make an impact
Develop state of the art technology for the power grids of the future. Constantly improve our solutions and develop new features.
Shape and evolve the test architecture to secure the quality of state-of-the-art technology for the power grids of the future.
Introduce best practices in test strategy, CI/CD integration, and test automation pipelines.
Contribute to developing new features while ensuring their testability from the start.

Your Background
You have a degree from university in computer science/engineering or other relevant education.
Proven expertise in C# development and applying it in automated testing frameworks.
At least 4 years of experience in a test automation, software development in test, or test architect role.
Proven experience in similar software developer roles programming in C#
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments, ideally with experience setting up test pipelines in these contexts.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is required.
You are passionate about technology and have willingness to share your knowledge.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
