Plan, manage, and implement small to medium-sized development and change projects focused on innovative healthcare materials in the field of nonwovens. Drive continuous improvement of existing products, processes, and materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and customer requirements
Independently design, conduct, and evaluate laboratory, pilot plant, and production trials to assess new materials and process concepts
Execute product and process validations in collaboration with production and quality assurance teams, in compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 13485)
Support the transition of new materials and processes into full-scale production, including technical assistance during scale-up and production approval phases
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and marketing, as well as external partners, to achieve development objectives
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and present project outcomes to internal stakeholders and, when required, to customers. Develop and maintain essential product documentation (e.g., technical and regulatory data sheets)
Successfully completed Master's degree in chemistry
Initial experience in managing small-scale development or sub-projects within the medical device sector, along with solid laboratory skills and expertise in test execution and evaluation
Sound knowledge of nonwoven materials and medical technology, complemented by several years of hands-on experience in instrumental analysis
Regulatory knowledge relating to medical devices and experience in the field of product stewardship desirable
Very good written and spoken English skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office applications as well as SAP R3 and QPDC knowledge an advantage
