THE JOB:

As the Race and Sports Shift Supervisor at Borgata, you will oversee the daily operations of the Race and Sports book during your shift and in the absence of the Shift Manager. Your responsibilities will be carried out in alignment with departmental and property policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist, train and lead Race and Sports Mutuel Clerks

  • Approve complimentary items for guests and over-the-limit wagers for the property

  • Close out writers at the end of the shift and ensure money has been transferred to the main cage

  • Move and monitor betting lines

  • Explain betting lines and odds to customers

  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

  • Issue disciplinary action when requested by Sports Book Manager/Director


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Required

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$21.25

 

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
