Quebec Territory Manager - Retail

We are seeking a Territory Manager to cover Home Depot and RONA Box stores across Quebec and the Atlantic provinces to join our Sales Team. The preferred candidate will be based in the Quebec Province, and the territory will include Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. This position reports to the Key Account Manager, Canada, requires up to 60% travel and has no direct reports.

Your future team:

  • You’ll join a passionate sales team being the critical link between ROCKWOOL and our customers, you will ensure they are presented with stone wool solutions that help to address their challenges and make a difference in people’s everyday lives.  Working in a company with a robust product portfolio, a strong market position, and high ethical standards, you will achieve customer excellence and contribute to our continued growth.

What you will be doing:

This role blends hands-on field execution with analytical insight. You’ll ensure our products are well represented in-store, engage directly with contractors, DIYers, and end users, and use POS data to uncover opportunities, track performance, and strengthen ROCKWOOL’s market presence.

In-Store Execution & Merchandising

• Maintain shelf inventory levels and ensure product availability.

• Ensure planogram compliance and correct product placement.

• Install and update POP materials, signage, and promotional displays.

• Audit bays and overstock areas to track out-of-stocks, price tags, and label accuracy.

Market Analysis & POS Insights

• Dive into POS data to understand sales trends, category performance, and regional opportunities.

• Identify high-turnover items, gaps, and growth potential by store and territory.

• Translate data into actionable strategies to improve product visibility and sales.

• Provide regular reporting and recommendations to internal teams based on market insights.

Contractor, DIYer & End User Engagement

• Actively connect with contractors, DIYers, and end users during store visits and events.

• Deliver product demonstrations and installation guidance to build confidence in ROCKWOOL solutions.

• Educate customers on product benefits, performance, and differentiation from competitors.

• Gather feedback from the field to better understand customer needs and improve brand positioning.

Retail Partner Support

• Build strong relationships with store managers and associates.

• Serve as the ROCKWOOL brand ambassador and first point of contact for questions.

• Attend Pro Days and other events to provide product updates, training, and support.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in sales, territory management, or merchandising, ideally in building materials or retail channels.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret POS data and market trends.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Comfortable engaging with contractors, DIYers, and end users in a hands-on, educational way.

  • Bilingual in English and French is essential.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across Quebec and Atlantic provinces.
