About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Test Engineer who thrives in inclusive, collaborative environments and is passionate about building and executing performance and automation tests. You’ll work across teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products and data solutions. Your contributions will help shape testing strategies, improve processes, and mentor others in best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations to plan testing and ensure product quality.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Work with QA/Testing staff, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute tests.
  • Report issues and results, research root causes, and document findings.
  • Ensure testing aligns with agreed requirements and quality standards.
  • Research and implement tools that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
  • Identify opportunities to apply automation and other tools to meet testing needs.
  • Investigate root causes of performance issues in collaboration with architects, developers, and system engineers.
  • Conduct project reviews and implement quality control procedures.
  • Enhance methodologies for test planning, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation.
  • Maintain documentation for internal and external IT audits.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve QA/testing processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure root cause analysis results are addressed.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of QA Test Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of API testing (REST).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute automated and performance testing.
  • Solid QA testing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and research skills.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and industry trends.
  • Understanding of budgets and cost-effective testing practices.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
