Job Summary
As a Quality Technician III, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance through inspection, testing, auditing and documentation throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities
*Support Quality Engineer on the plan and execution of the quality efforts through the manufacturing process.
* Conduct various tests using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators) and document results accurately.
* Identify and document non-conforming materials, components, and products, initiating appropriate corrective actions and rejections.
* Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection reports, and documentation as required by Jabil's quality management system.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems and continuously improve processes.
* Participate in internal and external audits as needed, providing necessary documentation and support.
* Train and mentor junior quality technicians on inspection techniques, quality procedures, and best practices.
* Operate and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

* Create and update quality-metrics reports.

Job Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED preferred not required or equivalent experience; Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality, Engineering Technology) preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance, quality control role within a manufacturing environment or any a similar position within the electronic manufacturing industry.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
* Expertise in using a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauges.
* Basic Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485) and relevant industry standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

* Experience working with 8D, DMAIC or other problem-solving tools.
* Ability to work the designated Shift C schedule (6 am to 6 pm, 3-4 days per week), including weekends and holidays as required.
