As a Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech), you ensure that all products are safe to consume and meets customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Timely collection and analysis of production samples and organoleptic evaluation of finished product; verification of proper coding and labeling of finished product
Coordinate holding of out-of-spec product according to established procedures, document hold and/or Quality Incidents in Non-Conformance data base, and use of computer system for inventory transactions, Quality data entry/analysis, communication via Microsoft Outlook
Participate in morning taste panel, compliance with all safety policies and good manufacturing practices, and provide input to resolve production issues while maintaining all quality and food safety requirements
Conduct Sanitation Verification Activities as required (ATP, Micro Swabbing, Visual Verification, Allergen Swabbing)

Skills and Experience:

University Degree or College Diploma in a Science related field or a combination of education and experience
Excellent communication skills, dependable, flexible, excellent math skills
Ability to work all 3 shifts on a rotating basis
Experience in quality analysis and/or product analysis
SAP experience
